The 28th annual Jazz festival in Avignon is a great way to wind down after the madness of Festival and chill out in the evening with some laid back Jazz. Tickets are available from the website, and the line up includes Neferttiti, Simon Below & Hailey Tuck

Avignon Ferris Wheel
Last chance to ride the Big Wheel in Avignon. It leave s the city again on August 15th.
36 cars turn 5 to 6 times during a ten-minute ride, with a stop at the top, 50 meters above the Allées de l’Oulle.
7€ per adult and concessions for children available. You get some fantastic panoramic views from the top over Avignon.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area before it leaves.
MARCHÉ DU SOIR DES PRODUCTEURS D’AVIGNON
This evening market, Carré des Producteurs is on the Allées de l’Oulle, every Monday evening now until August 29 from 8pm to 10pm.
This market is composed of local producers and sellers presenting their local produce. They offer fruits and vegetables, goat cheeses, bread, local products, poultry, cut flowers, rosebushes … a real local farmers market on the outskirts of Avignon.
24E BAN DES VENDANGES DES CÔTES DU RHÔNE
A day to celebrate the beginning of the harvest in a festive atmosphere, organized by the Compagnons des Côtes du Rhône.
A great way to spend the afternoon and evening with all sorts of things going on throughout the day.
Exhibitions Rocher des Doms at and workshops in the Clos de la Vigne at the Palais des Papes. A parade from the forecourt Saint Agricol to Notre Dame des Doms. Opening of the gourmet market at Rocher des Doms. Provençal winegrower’s Mass at Notre Dame des Doms metropolis. traditional pressing and tasting of new grapes. Presentation wines of the terroirs of Bacchic Brotherhoods. Topped off with the harvest ball to round off the evening, with live music into the night from the group “Dukes”.
